What is FILIGREE?

Filigree technique is one of the oldest and most beautiful techniques used in Jewellery. It entails working with wires of fine silver or gold, twisting and plaiting them into rope. I use flattened fine silver wire and twist it until it folds in on its self and produces a rope like effect that reminds me of bamboo.
